A smarter alternative to replacing your kitchen or UPVC.

Conservatory Spraying

Conservatory Spraying in Cheshire & Staffordshire

Conservatory frames age faster than anything else on a house because they take sun on every side. Where the structure is sound and watertight, spraying the frames transforms how the room feels without dismantling a building that still does its job.

Frames, transoms, cills and internal faces — sprayed in place and covered by our 2-year workmanship guarantee.

Why Spray Instead of Replace?

Modernise a dated structure

White and caramel UPVC conservatories date quickly. A grey or anthracite frame makes the same structure look like a contemporary garden room.

Inside as well as out

The internal frames are what you actually live with. Spraying both faces changes the room, not just the view of it from the garden.

Avoid a rebuild

Replacing a conservatory is a construction project. If the frames, glazing and roof are performing, colour is not a good reason to start again.

Tie it to the house

Conservatories often clash with the main windows. Spraying both in one colour makes the extension look designed rather than bolted on.

Every project is assessed honestly first. If the frames, panels or boards would be better replaced than sprayed, we will tell you before you spend anything.

How the Process Works

  1. 1

    Survey the structure

We check frames, glazing bars, seals, cills and the roof edge, and flag anything that needs attention before coating.

  2. 2

    Clean thoroughly

Conservatory frames collect algae, pollen and years of sun-baked residue. Everything is washed and degreased.

  3. 3

    Abrade and mask

Surfaces are keyed, then glazing, polycarbonate or glass roof panels, floors and furniture are protected.

  4. 4

    Ventilated interior working

Internal work is planned with ventilation and dust control so the room is usable again as quickly as possible.

  5. 5

    Prime and coat

Adhesion primer followed by controlled topcoats on frames, transoms and cills.

  6. 6

    De-mask and review

Masking is removed, the room is reinstated, and we go round the frames with you before finishing.

Colours and Finishes

Conservatories usually look best in a colour that links the structure to the main house. Popular choices:

  • Anthracite Grey (RAL 7016) inside and out for a garden-room look
  • Agate Grey and Light Grey where anthracite feels too dark internally
  • Black frames with white internal faces, keeping the room bright
  • Chartwell Green or sage on cottages and rural properties
  • Cream and off-white to soften a stark white structure
  • Any RAL colour matched to your existing windows

We recommend approving a physical sample against your own property, in daylight, before we begin.

What Can and Cannot Be Sprayed

Normally suitable

  • UPVC conservatory frames, transoms and glazing bars
  • Aluminium frames, after assessment
  • Internal frame faces where you want the colour carried through
  • Cills, trims and connecting roofline sections
  • Porches and garden rooms built in the same materials

Not suitable

  • Structures with leaks, failed seals or water ingress
  • Polycarbonate roof sheets, which are not a spraying surface
  • Frames that are cracked, distorted or structurally unsound
  • Glazing units that are blown or misted and need replacing first

Conservatory Spraying FAQs

Yes. Many customers do both so the room reads the same from inside as it does from the garden. Internal work involves full masking and protection of floors and furniture.
